Meet Your Counselor
Taylor Hahn is currently serving as the Interim Director of Counseling Services for Ε·²©ΡΗΠΗ's undergraduate and graduate students. Taylor is a compassionate therapist, with dedication to mental health advocacy and breaking stigma associated with accessing mental healthcare. Taylor supports individuals through a holistic approach, blending empathy with evidence-based practices. Taylor utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy. In short, the focus of her work is in helping individuals address their values, goals, and provide skill-building necessary to get back into your life when feeling stuck.
Taylor joined Ε·²©ΡΗΠΗ's Clinical Mental Health Counseling program as a graduate student in 2019 after moving to Frederick, MD and transitioning from a career in high school education. During her time at Ε·²©ΡΗΠΗ, Taylor worked as the graduate student success coordinator supporting various aspects of student wellness and success before graduating in May 2022. After receiving her masters, Taylor worked as a mental health counselor for a practice in Frederick.
All new clients can schedule a 15-minute consultation and all returning clients can view counselor availability on . For inquiries about counseling services, please contact counselingservices@hood.edu. Counseling Services is closed during winter and summer breaks.
